We have had a busy end to the term in the Forest, with lots of cooking over the campfire. Although the weather hasn’t been too cold we also thought about how the weather can be chilly. At the start of the week 1R and 1H toasted Christmas stars on the campfire. They carefully cut the star shapes out of the bread then watched as they cooked. The stars tasted delicious especially with Chocolate spread on. On Wednesday 2T made Pitta Pizzas with lots of cheese while 3H had a sweet treat of toasting S’mores to have with their Hot Chocolate. On Thursday 4L rounded off their sessions by also toasting some S’mores, and enjoyed a musical treat as Alywyn kindly played some songs on his guitar. It was a perfect way to end our sessions.
