This week pupils from Key stage 3 and 4 have been able to enjoy sessions in the Forest as we come to the end of the year. The pupils were able to chose which activities they wanted to do. On Monday 3V decided to make spinners and medals, carefully using the hand drill to make either one or two holes in their wood cookies and then decorating them. They also decorated beautiful wooden spinning tops. 3F opted to roast Marshmallows to make delicious S’mores. On Wednesday some of 4W had a go at making Fairy Fires and enjoyed unwinding from a busy term by resting in the hammocks finishing off their session with a BBQ of chicken kebabs. They were delicious. We also said ‘Good Bye’ to Ben this week who has been on work experience with us from the Hive. We wish him all the best for the future.
