It has been a very busy week in the Forest with lots of different activities happening each day. On Monday Butterflies enjoyed exploring in the sunshine and Green Group decorated odd socks using Green and Yellow leaves. Tuesday saw IR making a Forest band using the pots and pans and 1H creating some amazing splash pictures in their very own puddle. On Wednesday 2T invited their friend Paddington into the Forest. They made some delicious Marmalade mud sandwiches for him and built him a Den to sit in. During the afternoon 3H thought about recycling and worked hard sorting different objects into recycling categories before enjoying their hot chocolate. On Thursday 4L arrived with the Sun. As part of their ‘Elements’ topic they designed patterns onto solar paper and let the power of the sun turn their patterns into pictures. They also made a wonderful Sun picture using leaves and Pine needles from the Forest. Lunch time clubs have been equally busy, finding bugs, using the swings painting and jumping in the leaves.
