‘Bienvenue dans la Foret’ Is how we started our week, welcoming groups to the Forest as part of our ‘French Day’. To end the half term Spooky the Spider visited us this week, he made a shiny web between our trees. He enjoyed exploring the Forest with groups and even had a swing in one of the Hammocks. Pupils have had a great fun with Pumpkins this week too, Painting on them, Painting with them, balancing, pushing and even burying them. We have enjoyed looking at all the different sizes and colours that they come in. When we haven’t been playing with pumpkins, groups have enjoyed campfire cooking. Two groups made delicious seasonal sweet treats called ‘Witches hats’ using marshmallows, chocolate and strawberries. While 1F chose some savoury campfire chips. It’s been a lovely sunny end to our half term, we’ve all loved being outside.
